SEOUL BASED HANDMADE FOOTWEAR
PIETON is a handmade shoe brand from Seoul. The brand seeks inspiration from the daily life and architectural structure of urban women, and uses original shoe lasts, restrained contours and material texture to create a design that spans time.
This cooperation with Chengdu HUG starts from materials and forms, connecting shoes, space and experience into a brand narrative that can be entered.
The stones are smoothed flat, gravel continues to accumulate, and the leather leaves traces of use.
Form is never completed once, but is gradually shaped through repetition, accumulation and time. SHAPED BY TIME brings this process into space, making the material itself the protagonist of the experience.
CHENGDU / MATERIAL IN REPETITION
Natural stone and ferrous metal form a calm and tense contrast. The recurring sculpture display stands treat shoes as independent objects, allowing viewing to occur between order and difference.
Gravel, natural stone and dark booths continue to the window windows and experience areas, forming a path from the urban interface into the interior of the material.
SHENZHEN / A QUIET URBAN FACADE
In Shenzhen Vientiane Tiandi, window displays, light box images and product displays together form a more open urban interface. Low-saturated materials and clear light allow the shoes to emerge from the background while retaining the restrained temperament of HUG's original space.
VISUAL DIRECTION
Vision is oriented towards sculptural, experimental handwritten fonts and art exhibition-style white space. Posters are not just information carriers, but also like another work in space.
The floral art uses green, burgundy and light brown, combining fruits, dry plants and rough surfaces to integrate the natural texture into the display structure.
